What separates the MXT295 PRO from the MXT275? 

 The MXT295 PRO has a Fully-Integrated Wireless Bluetooth® Mic, IP67 waterproof and dustproof protection, wired intercom compatibility, PA functionality, and expanded channel and privacy controls. 

How do I pair the mic with the radio? 

 The radio and included Bluetooth® microphone are paired from the factory. If a different microphone needs to be paired to the radio, use the following procedure.

1. Turn the microphone on. Since the microphone is not yet paired with the radio, it will pause at the Power On screen.

2. From the Power On screen, press and hold both the UP and DOWN buttons on the microphone until the RX/TX LED begins to blink red, green, and blue.

3. Press and hold the pairing button on the base unit for five seconds.

4. After the pairing button is released, the pairing button will blink red and green until the pairing process completes.

Is the MXT295 PRO Waterproof?

 Yes, the MXT295PRO has a waterproof rating of IP67. This means the radio is fully submergible. Please note that if the right protective coverings are not over the mic or USB-C port, the radio loses the waterproof rating.

What Bluetooth Accessories can I use with my MXT295 PRO?

 You can use most Bluetooth headsets. However, the MXT295 PRO is not interfaceable with Apple Bluetooth products.

What is the range of the Bluetooth mic?

 The MXT295 PRO mic can reach up to 100 feet from the head of the unit. 

I plugged in the mic and now Bluetooth is not working.

 When a wired mic is plugged into the MXT295 PRO, Bluetooth will be disabled. You cannot use wired and Bluetooth mics simultaneously.

Can I flip the screen or mount the MXT295 PRO upside down?

 No, the screen must face outwards and upwards for use. The MXT295 PRO does not support alternative mounting options.

I do not see the wired microphone available on the website. Where can I purchase one?

We do not currently have a wired microphone available for the MXT295 PRO. However, we hope to have these and a steering wheel PTT button available for purchase in late 2026.

What do I need to know about charging the mic?

The mic has rapid 4-hour charging. A single charge can last up 2.5 days. You can use the mic while it is charging, but we recommend charging it between uses, as it will charge faster.

Does the MXT295 PRO mic have a belt clip?

Yes! You can use the BCA2 belt clip with the MXT295 PRO mic.

My mic is dying quickly, what are some troubleshooting steps?

First, ensure that the mic is turned off between uses. The mic does not turn off when you turn off the radio, so you must turn off both. Secondly, check that the charging cord is fully seated. If that does not work, please reach out to our support team.

I am having trouble connecting my Bluetooth devices. What should I do?

When connecting Bluetooth devices, you must ensure that the mic is connected first. Try disconnecting all devices, pairing the mic, then pairing the other Bluetooth devices. Please note that the MXT295 PRO cannot pair with Apple accessories.
