1. The MXTA24 is designed for mounting brackets or surfaces 1/8” to 1/4" thick. Thinner materials may
require some stainless washer(s) below the surface for proper spacing.
2. The MXTA24 can be installed directly in a 3/8” hole, or in the 5/8” hole on some brackets using the
included nylon spacer, part B. The two ears on Part D help keep the assembly centered in a 3/4" hole.
3. Part D should be installed on part E before inserting from below the bracket or mounting surface.
4. Part B is only needed if using a bracket with a 5/8” hole. It should be inserted in the 5/8” hole from the
topside of the bracket.
5. Part A is installed on top of the bracket (and Part B if used) or mounting surface with the wrench flats up
and the O-ring down. The rubber O-ring on the bottom of part A acts as a seal to prevent water entering
the mounting surface hole. Maximum torque: 16 lb-ft.
6. The center conductor of Part E should end up 1/32” to 3/16” proud of Part A to properly interface with
the NMO style antenna. Tighten the antenna by hand, to just snug.
