The Midland ER310PRO is a multi-power, multifunction emergency weather radio designed for outdoor, home, and disaster-readiness use. It combines NOAA Weather Radio reception, AM/FM broadcast, rechargeable power, flashlight, SOS beacon, and device-charging capabilities.

Ambient Temperature Display
The ER310PRO constantly displays the ambient temperature on the display.
Note: The temperature sensor is located in the handle of the unit. Excessive handling or charging of the device can temporarily affect the temperature reading.
Power Sources
The ER310PRO can be powered in four ways:
Rechargeable Battery Pack (10,000 mAh Li-Ion): Pre-installed and replaceable.
Solar Panel: Provides a trickle charge in direct sunlight to maintain battery life.
Hand Crank Generator: Turn the crank clockwise for emergency charging. One minute of cranking provides about 10 to 20 minutes of radio playback.
USB-C Charging: Connect the included USB-C cable to a 5 V DC power source for a full charge in approximately 6 to 8 hours.
Battery Charging & Indicators
Charging Methods:
To Charge via USB-C:
Insert the USB-C plug into the charging port on the radio.
Connect the other end to a USB power adapter or computer.
The battery icon will flash as it charges.
To Charge via Solar Panel:
Place the radio in direct sunlight with the panel facing up.
Charging time varies depending on sunlight intensity and angle. Solar charging is intended for maintenance charging, not a primary power source.
To Charge via Crank Handle:
Turn the crank clockwise for several minutes.
The battery icon will flash as the crank is turned. The hand crank is also intended for maintenance charging, not a primary power source.
Operation Instructions
Turning the Radio On/Off
Press and hold the Power button for two seconds to turn the unit on or off.
Selecting a Band
Press the Band button to cycle through BLUE (Bluetooth) , AM, FM, and WX (Weather).
Weather Radio Operation
Press BAND until you see WX Band.
Tune to the clearest weather broadcast for your area.
To enable Weather Alert Mode, press and hold the Alert button until the alert icon appears.
The radio remains in standby mode and automatically turns on when a NOAA alert is received.
Finding Your Local Weather Station
Visit www.weather.gov/nwr/stations to locate the NOAA transmitter closest to your area.
Identify the frequency listed for that transmitter (usually 162.400 to 162.550 MHz).
Tune the ER310PRO to the matching frequency by rotating the TUNING knob until you hear a clear broadcast
AM/FM Radio Operation
Find AM or FM Band using the Band button.
Use the tune up and down button to find the station you are looking for.
Adjust Volume by using Volume + and - buttons as needed.
Flashlight & SOS Beacon

External Device Charging (Power Bank Function)
Ensure the radio is charged to at least 50%.
Insert a USB cable into the USB-A output port.
Connect the other end to your device.
Charging begins automatically.
Output: 5 V DC @ 2.1 A. A fully charged battery can charge most smartphones up to 3 times, depending on battery size
Bluetooth (BT) Streaming
- Press BAND button repeatedly to find the Bluetooth streaming mode
- When selected, the LCD will display "blue" and the ᛒ icon will show and the radio will announce "Bluetooth mode"
- On your phone or other Bluetooth device, find "ER310 BT" in the Bluetooth device list and select that device
- To adjust Bluetooth audio stream, use the VOLUME buttons on the ER10PRO or the volume buttons on your Bluetooth audio device
Ultrasonic Dog Whistle/Siren
- The ultrasonic dog whistle may assist search and rescue teams to locate individuals during an emergency situation
- To enable the ultrasonic dog whistle, press and hold the flashlight/dog whistle button for 2 seconds. The ultrasonic dog whistle icon will be lit in the upper right corner of the LCD screen
- To turn off the ultrasonic dog whistle, press any button on the radio
Maintenance and Storage
Keep the unit dry and clean.
Avoid exposure to extreme heat or cold.
Charge the battery every 3–6 months when not in use.
Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials to clean the radio.
Troubleshooting

This product is covered by Midland’s Three-Year Limited Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accident, unauthorized modification, or exposure to water.
